Pricing & Billing

Two modes. One simple per-rep price.

Pay per rep, per month — for the reps you deploy or the visit workload ORBIT plans, whichever is greater. Choose Route Planning, or add Field Sales for full order-taking at a higher per-rep rate. Planning seats for your office team are always included, with no per-territory fees and no surprises.

How Pricing Works

You pay per billable rep

A single, transparent rate per rep — with everything in the platform included. No feature tiers to decode.

1

One rate per rep — per mode

A single monthly rate for every rep on the plan, with office planning seats included. Route Planning has one per-rep rate; Field Sales adds order-taking at a higher per-rep rate. No per-store, per-territory or per-module fees.

2

Billable reps track real usage

You're billed for the greater of the reps you deploy or the visit workload ORBIT actually plans — so pricing always reflects the coverage you're getting, and never less.

3

Billed monthly, no lock-in

We take a snapshot on a fixed date each month and invoice from it. Month-to-month by default; choose annual for a discount.

The Fair Bit

What counts as a “billable rep”?

It's the larger of two numbers, so you're never under- or over-charged for the coverage you actually use.

billable reps = max( reps you deploy ,  planned visits per month ÷ visits-per-rep )
Store visits are counted per month, from each site's target visit frequency. “Visits-per-rep” is a realistic monthly rep capacity, agreed with you (for example, ~800 visits per rep per month).

Example A — a normal field team

Reps deployed12
Planned store visits / month7,200
Workload reps (7,200 ÷ 800)9
Billable reps = max(12, 9) = 12 — you simply pay for your team.

Example B — a big network, few reps loaded

Reps deployed6
Planned store visits / month9,600
Workload reps (9,600 ÷ 800)12
Billable reps = max(6, 12) = 12 — the workload sets the price, so a huge network can't be run on paper for the cost of one rep.

FAQ

Billing questions, answered

Do I pay for reps I haven't loaded into the system?

Only if the visit workload you're planning requires them. Billable reps are the greater of the reps you deploy or the monthly visit workload ÷ a rep's capacity. If you plan the work of ten reps, you pay for ten — whether or not all ten profiles are loaded. If you load twelve reps doing lighter work, you pay for twelve.

How are “planned visits per month” counted?

Each store carries a target visit frequency. ORBIT sums those across your network and normalises them to a standard month using your partition's planning period — so a store visited weekly counts as more workload than one visited monthly.

What happens when my store network changes?

Your bill follows it. Because the monthly snapshot reads your live master data, adding or removing stores adjusts your billable reps at the next snapshot — up or down.

How am I invoiced?

We take a snapshot on a fixed date each month and invoice from it. The snapshot records your store, rep and visit counts, your billable reps and the amount — so the number on the invoice can always be traced back to your data on that day.

Is there a minimum, or a lock-in?

There's a small minimum number of billable reps so we can support you properly, and billing is month-to-month with no lock-in. Annual plans are available at a discount.

Do I have to take orders to use ORBIT?

No. Route Planning is a complete product on its own — territories, routes, the rep app and visit tracking. Field Sales is an optional mode you switch on when you want reps to take orders; it adds the catalogue, tiered pricing, stock availability, order capture, signatures, prospecting and the live sales dashboard, at a higher per-rep rate. You can start with planning and add Field Sales later without migrating anything.
